Just to settle the matter...

I didn't take Jewelcrafting to min/max. I took it because I thought it was an interesting profession I had not previously explored, and did not like the idea of pestering my friend(s) for cut gems whenever I swapped gear and stats around. I took it because at the time my Death Knight was an alt and I felt it was a good profession for an alt to have, to help support my main.

I belong to one of the few Jewelcrafters that fully support the Prismatic gem nerf. It costs me some stats, yes, but those are stats I shouldn't have been receiving anyways.

Again: I did not take Jewelcrafting to min/max my Death Knight.

For that, I took up Blacksmithing along side JCing. =P
